Special Statement Regarding Mask Exemptions (9/1/2021)

 

It has come to our attention that Wellspring and its providers are rumored to provide mask exemption letters without question. This is false.

 

Mask exemption letters are a consideration for Wellspring patients who to the best of our understanding meet criteria outlined by the Kalamazoo County Health Department Letter to Superintendents dated August 24, 2021. 

 

Wellspring has never been (and will never be) driven by political agenda, but rather, remains focused on offering skilled whole person, patient centered care for those individuals and families who choose us for their healthcare needs. The pandemic has certainly offered its share of challenges to this approach, and we will continue to carefully and respectfully review and implement ever-evolving research into all areas of our practice as we partner with patients during this difficult time.
