Curtis Buchheit, MD


Internal Medicine, Pediatrics

Curtis is a board-certified internist and a pediatrician who has practiced medicine since 1994. He completed his undergraduate work in mathematics at Ohio State University and earned his M.D. at the University of Cincinnati.

He completed an internal medicine and pediatric residency at UT–Memphis, a program that offers training in a variety of settings, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital – an experience that greatly influenced his perspective on both medicine and faith. His practice career has been diverse, with experiences in outpatient, inpatient, occupational and in-home care settings. He is a husband and a father, a volunteer at Connections Community Church in Schoolcraft, and enjoys teaching, reading, music, golf, and fantasy sports.

Danielle Buchheit, MA, LPC


Behavioral Health Consultant

Danielle is a licensed professional counselor who has practiced since 2014. After 15 years in nonprofit marketing and advertising design, she felt moved to shift focus from coaching organizations to investing in individuals and families, and earned an M.A. degree from Spring Arbor University in community counseling. She has previously worked as a therapist/intake specialist at Response Care Center in Richland, Michigan, and has focused her post-graduate study in integrated behavioral health with Arizona State University. She is an amateur golfer and musician, and enjoys her roles of wife, mother, and volunteer for various church and community groups.

Ashley Trieu, MA, LLP, LLPC

Behavioral Health Consultant

Ashley is a Limited License Psychologist and Professional Counselor who comes to us after serving for four years in a local counseling agency. She earned her Bachelor’s in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint), and her Master’s in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. She has post-graduate training and experience treating children, adolescents and adults, with special interest areas including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety, depression, and coping with disabilities. She is married to Phu, has two children, and is an active volunteer at The Bridge in Portage.
